Couples in love.

To this day i still have the movie tickets from that day. I fell in love with this amazing girl when i was 18. I drove to her friends house to hang out but it ended up turning into one of the best nights of my life. I get there and i sit on the chair on the other side of the living room i was so nervous i couldn’t stand being near her without losing my breath and sweating and shaking. all i could do was stare at her this was one of the first times we had hung out. every time i looked at her i could feel my racing heartbeat in my head. After her friend decided to watch a movie (Paranormal Activity) i built up the courage to sit next to her…we were both completely silent, i didn’t know it but she was really really nervous. I decided to be playful and nudged her a lil in hopes of her thinking it was funny and pushing me back…she did..and it became a tickle fight…war actually. The smile on her face made me melt and her laugh…her laugh made me smile like the biggest idiot on the planet. but once the movie started we settled down and she slid her hand down my arm and put hers in mine…and put her head on my shoulder…in that moment i felt like any and everything i would ever need in my life was right beside me..i loved her with every inch of my heart and soul. Later that night after the movie her friend decided to go to the real movies…this became our first date. we get there and sit down and i was again more nervous than ive ever been in my entire life. The whole movie i fought myself to grow the balls to try to kiss her but figured that’s too much, too soon. so i nudged her again and when she looked at me with her bright blue eyes i looked at my hand which was open, placed on the arm rest..she was too nervous to make the move so i slid my hand down her arm and grabbed hers (also sweaty btw) and the second our fingers locked i could see an un-containable smile creep across her face. it took me all of twenty minutes to buld up the courage to pull her hand up and kiss it..she’s part irish so i saw her cheeks turn redder than i had ever seen. after the movie i had to go to work so we got in separate cars but before i left i said bye and opened my arms for a hug. when she stepped forward i grabbed her and squeezed her tight..later that night she told me she had never felt more safe and loved than when she was in my arms…that was the perfect date for me not because of what we did but because i was with the only girl i have ever truly loved.
